Angiography
What is Angiography and who needs it?
Angiography is done to view the vessels supplying the heart and see whether there is any narrowing. This is mainly done to see whether you need a bypass surgery if there is a big obstruction in the vessels. It is done by injecting a dye to the vessels and viewing it through a screen.
People who get recurrent chest pains not responding to medication are the ones who mainly need it. A doctor has to decide whether you need it or not.
