Can a childless female who will undergo IVF programme, develop a fetus in the phalopian tube? This lady who is due for IVF has fears about this and hence the question.

Dear Amitha,
Yes it is. Multiple pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy ( fetus in the Fallopian tube) etc. are recognised complications of IVF pregnancy. However these complications can be diagnosed, treated reliably and early therefore reassure her.
