Answer
Dear user
This is the answer for both parts of your questions. Sorry for the delay in answering.
There are many reasons for "Oedema" (meaning "swelling")of legs. Heart, kidney, liver and blood problems are the commonest. These cause problems in both legs, although the extent can differ. If only one side is affected, the common causes are lymphatic and venous system blocks. e.g. Elephantiasis due to filariasis.
When you have oedema, there is high chance of infection and antibiotics are needed to control that.
According to the second question, all the reports seem to be clear. I wonder any duplex scans were also done in you. Anyway, in some patients, we cannot find a clear cause, unfortunately. But it is wise to be under care of a trained doctor as he/she may be able to control the symptoms and prevent complications although unable to find an exact cause.
