Vegetarians and vitamin imbalance

All in all being a vegetarian is a good thing. One important thing to remember is a plant world is devoid of vitamin B12. We have a store of it for about 2 years but after that we need that vitamin from animal sources. Milk is a good source. The problem comes to Lactovegetarians. Those are also called vegans. They dont eat any animal product. Then they have to take vitamin supplements.

recommended vitamin supplements

valuable comments by Nice Doctor. also i would like to know is there recommended vitamin supplements products for vegetarians..?

No Brand Names :-) !

Hi,

I am afraid if you tell a particular brand that may be unethical!

There are a lot of brands available out there. Go for a reputed company. You can check the composition and see whether adequate Vit B12 is available. RDA ( Recommended Dietary Allowance) for vit B12 is 6.0 micrograms.

Are you are vegetarian? Just curious!
