Painful Heels

I am 52 years. Male. On medicine (Losatan Pottassium 50 mg & Amlodipine 05 mg)for high BP and diabetes(Metformin 500mg).
As I wake up in the morning I can't place my right heel on the floor due to pain. It is difficult to walk for a few minutes & then it becomes alright. I go for a walk for about 20 minutes a day early in the morning.
Some times when I sit for long in a place and get up to walk, the pain starts and then goes off.
I didn't consult a doctor yet as it was not a big problem for me. Now I fear it may continue.
Could you please advise what to do.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis

This is a common condition in the middle aged and the elderly. Stiffness of joints and pain, especially at the end of the day are some common symptoms.

The knee is one of the common joints to be involved but joints which have previously undergone any form of trauma are more vulnerable to get osteoarthritis.

In addition to pain releif, proper physiotherapy results in a good outcome. One such method is the quadriceps muscle exercise proposed for the knee.
